Jiří Bouda (1934 - 2015)
A prominent painter, graphic artist and illustrator. He was a son of Cyril Bouda and a disciple of Karel Svolinský. His lifelong love was technology and mass - especially railway - transport, which aso happened to be a central theme in many of his pictures, illustrations, graphics and bookplates. He managed to capture many vistat of Czech and Moravian cities as well as motives from his journeys through Bohemian lands and abroad (France, Italy). Restoration of Langweil's paper model of Prague is one of his highly praised artistic creations.
He was a long-time member of SČUG Hollar. He lived in Prague where he also created his works. We can see them on display in many Czech and foreign art galleries.
