Opening of the open-air exhibition of the Litomyšl Town Gallery. Five curators – Marie Straková, Žaneta Richterová, Tea Záchová, Ondřej Horák and Rostislav Koryčánek – collaborated with selected artists and highlighted the distinctive qualities of selected urban sites in accordance with their unique memory and history through site-specific installations and performances. The interpretation of the festival theme of passion within the individual curatorial concepts is linked by a shared desire to establish a peaceful dialogue with a specific place, not to intervene in a conflicting way in its integrity. The project revives the general discourse on the topic of incorporating artworks into the urban exterior with an emphasis on urban, aesthetic and ethical aspects.
