The artwork of the book reflects the rich life story of Bohuslav Martinů\, the diversity of his musical work and the cultural and historical context of the events of the first half of the 20th century that accompanied and significantly influenced Martinů’s work. The cycle of paintings deliberately lacks visual continuity. The expressiveness is subordinated to the diverse conception of the composer’s works\, but also to the time and environment in which they were created.
