The sculpture <em>The Way of Life<\/em> was created on the occasion of the bicentenary of Bed\u0159ich Smetana&#8217;s birth and bears the unmistakable handwriting of the author. Rudolf Burda gave the new &#8220;monument&#8221; of the Litomy\u0161l native the shape of a sphere made of highly polished stainless steel material. The clean, minimalist shape of the work is intersected at eye level by a tube of coloured glass, which is uniquely imprinted with light on the sculpture&#8217;s matter, leaving geometric abstract shapes.
