The exhibition of photographs by the renowned photographer and multiple Czech Press Photo award winner Jarmila Štuková will present in Litomyšl images depicting the horrors of war conflicts and their impact on the inhabitants of war-affected countries. J. Štuková graduated from DAMU, but immediately after graduation she began to focus on photography and reportage. Since 2005, she has focused mainly on countries plagued by war, poverty and social problems. She has documented, among other things, acid attacks in India, violence against women in Afghanistan and the war with the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. She has moved not only on the front lines, but especially in refugee camps, hospitals and destroyed cities.
