Jiří Pačinek is one of the most important contemporary art glassmakers not only in the Czech Republic but also at the international level. He was born in 1972 in Litoměřice. USA, France, Italy, Germany, China, India, Vietnam, Philippines, Kazakhstan ... In all these places, Jiří Pačinek left his imprint in the form of a glass installation, a chandelier, a sculpture, a vase or a glass tree. This summer, another charming place will be Litomyšl, where this world-famous glassmaker will stop and present his unique creations. Apart from his work, Jiří Pačinek has collaborated and is collaborating with many important world artists, architects, and designers, such as architect Bořek Šípek, artist René Roubíček, fashion designers Blanka Matragi, Beata Rajská and others. Thanks to these creative meetings, many unique art objects were created, and they became part of the collections of important world galleries, museums, and private collections. This year's exhibition will be hosted by Hotel Aplaus, which interior will be decorated with glass decorations in the form of candlesticks, vases, chandeliers, and many other artistic gems. And at the same time, the exterior will be transformed into a glass garden, which you can visit in full beauty in Kunratice near Cvikov, where Jiří Pačinka's residence is located. There you will find his glassworks, grinding mill and sales gallery, as well as the Glass Garden and the unique Crystal Temple. It is a place where the beauty and charm of fragile glass are combined with wild colours, exotic shapes, and imaginative creations. It is no coincidence that Jiří Pačinek is an important member and part of the destination project of the Liberec Region with the distinctive name "Crystal Valley".
